Life is busy same for everybody I guess.

We have been to Penang for some medical work and then spent 2 days in KL sightseeing and catching up with a friend who is a photographer. We have had 3 weddings in a row which has been busy but lots of fun. Great couples with very different wedding thats one thing I love they are all so different.

Welcome to my blog. I hope you had a great Christmas with family and friends mine was calm and no stress, just how I like it. Happy new year to all I hope this year brings peace to everyone espescially those in conflict zones like Afganistan, Iraq, Israel, the African states and the many more in our world.

A little about myself, Im a middle age mum with two kids Edward 18 and Hannah 16 and stepmum to Emma 24 and Alice 21, Im married to Dave for 8 years. Im a photographer and a Registred nurse. Ive been nursing primarily in The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit for 18yrs, and have taken up photography as a career over the last 3 yrs. The experiences I have been priviliged to be part of in The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit have enriched my life and in turn my photography.

Ive always loved taking photos since I picked up my dads old Pentax SLR over 30 years ago,Ive had a camera in my hand wherever Ive gone since then. Ive done a few small courses and completed the New York Intitute of Photographys exteral course a few years ago. I subscribe to the Digital Wedding Forum which is full of really useful stuff. My passion is photographing people wedding and families are my favourites.
I got a Canon 5D Mark 11 for christmas and I cant wait to do my first wedding on the 7th Febuary with it - I love the camera. My new years resolution is to take photos at least once a week. Heres some from a zoo visit last week.
